As a parent, I request that you remove from VA Health School Guidelines the Advocates for Youth website and other links that provide content on abortion access, gender identity and sexuality -- all topics that should be discussed with parents.

I am extremely disappointed in Virginia allowing access to these harmful resources, as it is the parents' responsibility to teach students regarding such things, NOT the school system.

VDH cannot promote materials/resources of a sexual nature that could be shared with a student without a parent's consent!  Doing this undermines a parent's right to direct the health education of their student.
