I urge you to remove the Advocates for Youth website from the proposed Virginia Department of Health Virginia School Health Guidelines for public schools. This offensive website – listed in the document’s “Sexual Health” resources section – promotes abortion, a “Free the Pill” campaign, and numerous other items that so many parents, including me, recognize as extremely harmful to children’s health and well-being. This site is listed as a “resource” in the proposed guidelines, when in reality it promotes the exact opposite of what our youth should be taught.
