I strongly oppose this action as it would unfairly and unnecessarily limit access to quality mental health care in an already understaffed field. This is a time when regulatory boards should be moving towards portability rather than away from it. Furthermore, the inequitable treatment of licensed professionals who graduated from programs that were not CACREP-accredited is not evidence-based.
