No Vaccine Mandates for Anyone

There should not be covid-19 vaccine mandates for anyone. The vaccines are not 100% safe or 100% effective. The virus that causes Covid -19 results in death to 1.6% of Americans who get it (according to Johns Hopkins https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality, which includes those with comorbidities.

There are recommendations for those who are vaccinate and unvaccinated, but no guidance for those who have already been infected. It’s as if they are saying that there is no natural immunity gained from having the virus. But, U.S. News reported that “The power of natural immunity was recently affirmed in an Israeli study, which found a 6.7 times greater level of protection among those with natural immunity vs. those with vaccinated immunity (https://www.usnews.com/news/national-news/why-covid-19-vaccines-should-not-be-required-for-all-americans). Also note the site also says: “The risk of hospitalization from COVID-19 in kids ages 5 to 17 is 0.3 per million for the week ending July 24, 2021, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We also know that the risk of hospitalization after the second vaccine dose due to myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, is about 50 per million in that same age group.” I.e., the vaccine causes more issues for children than actually getting the covid-19 corona virus!

Also, the vaccines are NOT 100% effective. Per the CDC “All approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccines demonstrated efficacy (range 65% to 95%) against symptomatic, laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 in adults ≥18 years.” (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/fully-vaccinated-people.html)

Covid-19 vaccines should be optional for everyone.
