The state is once again proving to be a selfish neighbor to Richmond residents. Bank St is a vital connector for our small multimodal infrastructure. It has long been part of the East Coast Greenway, the US's longest walking and biking route with signs on Bank St indicating so.

Capitol Police have already made Bank St unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists by forcing them to share a small sidewalk with a blind entrance to the Pocahontas building. Please do not make it even more unsafe by closing the street from 9pm to 6am. This will force pedestrians and cyclists to use unsafe and busy streets.

I ask that you exclude Bank St from this regulation. Thank you
