That street belongs to the people of Virginia and especially to the people of Richmond, and it's not yours to close down. I regularly bike through that area, and it's hard enough to do now. It's a vital connection from the western part of the city where I live to eastern part of the city where I shop, visit and sometimes work. Please do not shut it down at night and force cyclists and pedestrians into unsafe conditions. Please fix it to be easier to bike and walk through now. Broad and Main are very dangerous to bike on, and having to detour will discourage walking and biking, which is the last thing Richmond needs.
