BCaBA strongly requesting reconsideration of changes to billable activities of BCaBAs. BCaBAs receive additional schooling and supervision to complete many of the tasks that BCBAs complete. BCaBA's ability to provide support to BCBAs allows for more clinically sound services as BCBAs are in high demand and typically have intensive case loads that are better managed with the support provided by BCaBAs. Additionally, I would encourage reconsideration of billable activities in the school setting. Clients are being kicked out of school daily due to limited resources and training of staff in the school systems. If direct ABA services in the schools were included in approved billable acitivites, our clients could recieve the support they need across settings and would more likely be able to remain in public schools.
