Goals of Regulation |
To protect the public health and/or welfare with the least possible costs and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth. To protect public health, safety and welfare and the environment from harmful results of mismanagement of regulated medical waste by its generators, transporters, storers, treaters or disposers. |
