Enactment clause 3 of Chapter 471 of the 2024 Acts of Assembly required all state agencies that permit economic development projects to develop procedures to implement the Virginia Business Ready Expedited Permitting Program.  DEQ has developed internal procedures to comply with this enactment clause and these internal procedures are available on the Department of Environmental Quality's website at: https://www.deq.virginia.gov/business-construction/office-of-permitting-assistance
