The Westmoreland County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 starting at 1:30 P.M., in the George D. English Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk Street, Montross, Virginia. The following cases are under consideration for Wetlands Board approval:

 

CASE # 1503- Sharon A. Owen-Tomochak, 11440 Yeats Drive, Catlett, VA 20119 and agent Ashley Scanlan, 12 Island Lane, Lottsburg, VA 22511, request Wetlands Board approval to replace 70 feet of bulkhead. This project is located at 815 Riverview Lane, Kinsale. TM# 49H-2-8-(43&44). Cople Magisterial District. VMRC# 2025-2017

 

CASE# 1506- Ronald & Shirley Bevans, P.O. Box 340, Kinsale, VA 22488, and agent Bayshore Design LLC, 8518 Cople Hwy, Hague, VA 22469 request Wetlands Board approval to construct a 30’ rip-rap revetment return wall extension and remove 22’ end section of rip-rap sill and realign the sill 20’ to tie into existing and extended rip-rap revetment. This project is located adjacent to 1006 White Point Road, Kinsale, VA 22488. TM #56-52G, Cople Magisterial District. VMRC#2025-2463
