Pursuant to Section 6 of the Accomack County Wetlands Zoning Ordinance, you are hereby notified of a Public Hearing that will be held in the Accomack County Administration Building Board Chambers, Room #104, 23296 Courthouse Avenue – Accomac, Virginia at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 27, 2024 The following applications will be heard:

Norman Colpitts- VMRC# 2024-0710  The portion of the project, which is in the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction, is the proposed group two living shoreline maintenance including the placement of 27 cubic yards of Vulcan Puddledock White Sand within the previous project footprint and planting of 860 spartina alterniflora plugs in a one-foot on-center pattern. This project is located in Belle Haven, VA 23306, tax map#(s) 117-11-4.

William Chandler, III – VMRC# 2024-0825  The portion of the project, which is in the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction, is the creation of 220 linear feet of living shoreline with (2) 10 linear feet gaps placed in between the long and short sills. This project is located in Belle Haven, VA 23306, tax map#(s) 108-1-10.

Terry Windsor – VMRC# 2024-0943  The portion of the project, which is in the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction, is the proposed installation of an 80 feet long by 10 feet wide quarry stone sill places 8 - 10 feet channellward of mean low water, and the repair of an 80 feet long section of failing rip rap revetment by reinstalling class I and II stone. This project is located in Onancock, VA 23417, tax map#(s) 91-A-73A.

Gemcraft Homes – VMRC# 2024-0974  The portion of the project, which is in the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction, is the proposed replacement of the existing failing bulkhead 2 feet channelward. This project is located in the Captain's Cove subdivision of Greenbackville, VA 23356, tax map#(s) 5A1-1-1170.
