Ho-Fel Solar, LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documents for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Isle of Wight County, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60.  Ho-Fel Solar will be located adjacent to Lees Mill Road. Latitude and longitude coordinates are as follows: 36.673032, -76.882005.

Sited on approximately 350 acres, the project will have a Maximum Capacity of 40 Megawatts Alternating Current (AC) and depending on final design, will consist of approximately 95,000 solar photovoltaic modules installed on single-axis tracking racking structures, and 13 inverters installed on approximately 13 separate concrete pads.
