The Board of Education intends to revise the Mathematics Standards of Learning and the related curriculum framework.  The review will take place from May 2008 through August 2009.  The proposed revisions will be posted on the Department of Educations Web site: http://www.doe.virginia.gov/

Public hearings will be held in February 2009 for the revised Standards of Learning.  The time and location of the hearings will be announced well in advance. Public comment will be received on the curriculum framework beginning July 17, 2009, ending September 1, 2009. See:
