I have reviewed this NOIRA on a preliminary basis. While I reserve the right to take action at a later date, I approve the advancement of this regulation to the next stage. In developing the proposed regulation, I would like the Department to consider whether any difference in the number of training hours required for corrections officers and juvenile justice officers is justified.
