Purpose of the meeting
The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will hold a public meeting to share information on an application submitted for a new Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) permit from the Washington Manassas Airport (formerly Manassas Regional Airport). The informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Central Library, 8601 Mathis Avenue, Manassas, Virginia. The meeting will include a short presentation, after which DEQ and Airport staff will be available to answer questions on the application process, water quality, and proposed airport operations. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the meeting.
