| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Department of Education will host its Virtual Learning Advisory Committee (VLAC) meeting on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The focus of the committee is to share information related to the two objectives: 1) Online courses, in-service training and digital instructional resources necessary for school divisions to meet graduation requirements. 2) Strategic planning to expand blended and online learning opportunities in Virginia's public schools, including cost-effective access to high-need and low-demand courses, training, content and digital resources. Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus health emergency, the meeting will proceed under modified procedures. The meeting is open to the public for viewing and will be livestreamed on the VDOE YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrbxl9wHScrWKWIEoUWNIfQ/videos.
