Purpose of the meeting
*UPDATE*: The public hearing on the draft construction permit for the Dominion Energy Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Pilot Project (61695) scheduled for May 14, 2020, will be held. However, to address protective measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is now a digital public hearing instead of an in-person meeting and will be held via GoToWebinar teleconferencing service and in compliance with Item 4-0.01 g of Chapter 1283 of the 2020 Acts of Assembly. Purpose: The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comment on the draft construction permit from the Department of Environmental Quality for a major air pollution source 24 nautical miles offshore of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Notice of the public hearing and comment period previously appeared in the newspaper on March 13, 2020, April 13, 2020, and April 23, 2020. Comment Period Duration: March 13, 2020 - May 15, 2020. Date and time of information briefing: May 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Date and time of public hearing: May 14, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. Participants can join the meeting starting at 5:45 P.M.
