| Purpose of the meeting The Office of Epidemiology in the Virginia Department of Health is reconstituting a work group to advise the department regarding mandatory reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAI). This group will have representation from medicine, nursing, infection control practitioners, hospital chief medical officers, hospital epidemiologists, consumers, health plans, and a quality improvement organization. This meeting is an orientation for this work group. | |||
