emergency stage be extended until 11/12/2021.
Reason for Extension:
DMAS is requesting this emergency regulation be extended until November 12, 2021 for the following reason: This extension is required in order to continue to address administrative settlement agreements in a timely fashion. The regulation describes the process for settlement agreement discussions between a Medicaid provider and the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) and how it affects the time periods currently set forth in the existing informal and formal appeal regulations.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 3/12/2021.
