Thank you for the opportunity to submit public comments regarding the Virginia Pollution Abatement (VPA) Regulation and General Permit for Animal Feeding Operations and Animal Waste Management [9 VAC 25 ? 192] Notice of Intended Regulatory Action (NOIRA).

The Virginia Agribusiness Council and its members have provided input and technical guidance on this matter in its past iterations and would appreciate the opportunity to once again serve on a technical advisory committee (TAC) or regulatory advisory panel (RAP) regarding this regulation and general permit.

On behalf of our members, we appreciate the department and the Board's attention to this permit and urge a timely regulatory process.
