I am honestly shocked that this legislation is even being proposed in the first place.  I think we can all agree that bullying is wrong and that students of the LGBTQ community should be treated with respect and dignity even if we don't agree with their lifestyle choices.  However, talking about forcing these views onto elementary school children and creating confusion in their developing young minds is appalling!  You have to be 18 to get a tatoo or vote, or 21 to smoke or drink, but a child can decide whether they are a boy or girl, without the parent's knowledge and then teachers can't question it?  Have y'all lost your minds?  This is insanity.  Not to mention middle or high school girls who may have a biological boy show up in the locker room while they are undressing because he claims he is a girl for that day.  It is the parents' job to address these issues and teach their children how to love and respect all people.  It is not the job of a school system to indoctrinate our children with these lies!  This is science and facts.  You are either a male or a female.  PERIOD.  As an adult if you choose to identify in another way, so be it, but this has no place in the school system.  Both of my children were pulled from public school 5 years ago and this type of craziness happening is confirmation of why they will never be going back.  If you pass this legislation, my heart will break for all of those children who have no other option other than public school.  This is just plain wrong!  If you pass this, I would also plan for a mass exodus of families to leave the public school system and go to private/homeschool.   They have already been coming due to your incompetent handling of schools during COVID, and you will lose even more with legislation such as this.
