I oppose the detailed proposal written in the attached document. The policies being pushed forward are promoting a new standard of keeping parents in the dark regarding big ideas. The policies encourage children to seek guidance from the public school system, rather than partnering with the family to create a support network for the child. I will never support policy which intentionally eliminates the parent in any part of the child education. These policies also force those who do not religiously support it, to conform. I expect that regardless of the outcome, parents will receive FULL disclosure, communication on expectations, and options for those who oppose it based on religious beliefs.
