I hope none of the transgender students are unfortunate enough to have to live with the transphobic parents in these comments. Support for the students identities and safety is absolutely CRUCIAL, especially in a world filled with so much hatred and malice as it is. In addition, statistically, your child is more likely to be harrased or assaulted by a family member than a transgender person, so anyone here crying that their child is going to be attacked should focus on evaluating their own family problems first. I hope any transphobes in these comments grow out of their ignorance, and learn not to look at people with hatred for being themselves and not hurting others.
