We are residents of FFX County and proud parents of a graduate. This proposal, while well-intentioned by those who wrote it, contains significant danger to the mission of our schools to provide a nurturing and learning environment. Our schools can provide positive learning environments and a quality education, but they should NEVER come in between the parents and their children. This attempt to expand parental responsibility to become defined as something dangerous to children is a leftist extremist approach to control and has no business here. I look at San Francisco CA, and this push is another symptom of an extreme view that will cause extreme damage. Ask yourselves, is this the Fairfax School System, or the Democrat Leftist Lab for destroying families? I know the answer.
