Action | Amend Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers to Address Federal Health and Safety Requirements |

Many of these proposed regulations are unecessary burdens on daycare providers who are already stretched to the limit meeting regulations. These in no way increase the safety or care of my child (who already receives excellent care, thank you) and will only result in higher tuition fees. The teaching age restrictions are ludicrous---most daycares operate with 16 and 17 year old staff in the afternoons in order to relieve full-time teachers. I trust that my daycare will hire resposible young adults for these positions.
