I oppose any regulation created for the appearance of 'Let's do something, even is it is worthless'. This regulation will not make any person safer. It will make them less safe. The only people this regulation will impact are the law abiding citizens that follow the rules. Criminals and terrorist ignore the rules and laws. There are laws against hurting other people but people still get hurt. There are laws against stealing things, yet things still are stolen. This regulation will only prevent a law abiding citizen from defending themselves if the need arises. It will only get the governor an 'ATTA BOY' from national and international figures while slowly stripping the rights from law abiding citizens. Our public servants should spend their time improving our lives, not trying to control them.
