Gun free zones are soft targets and do nothing to prevent violence. I used to open carry into my local ABC store and there was never an issue. Now I cannot do so. It's not like I can take my business elsewhere since all the liquor stores in Virginia are state controlled. It also used to be okay to carry into the DMV. If this law is enshrined into the Virginia Code then we the CHP holders will be disarmed; whereas the criminal doesn't give a damn about the laws on the books.
