Regulations Banning Concealed Firearms in Offices Occupied by Executive Branch Agencies

I am absolutely opposed to the permanent enactment of this regulation.  It is ill advised and will make the people working in those buildings as well as visitors less safe.  It has been proven over and over that active shooters virtually always pick a "gun free" zone.  There has never been a problem with concealed carry permit holders.  It is an established fact that they have fewer encounters with law enforcement than even the police.

The enactment of this "emergency" ban was nothing more than a knee jerk solution to a problem that doesn't exist.  I have yet to hear what the "emergency" was that brought it about in the first place.

Again, I very strongly urge you to stop the permanent enactment of this foolish and ill advised regulation.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Gary Bailey
