Abortion center regulations for women should be strengthened not weakened. The suspension of operations at a Fairfax abortion facility due to 26 health and safety violations proves that the regulations are working and must be preserved, not watered down. The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. They are NOT able to self regulate. Since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Virginia women deserve nothing less.
I have never been able to understand why they think what they do is healthcare and yet not feel they must adhere to healthcare standards. PLEASE DO NOT WATER THE REGULATIONS DOWN!!
