HB 1228 should be opposed. The current law has only been in effect for 4 months. There have been NO safety issues reported to the DPOR, so this strongly suggests that all the current sanctioning bodys are overseeing events in a proper manner. The language in this bill brings serious question to the MOTIVE of the bill and I dont feel the motive is fighter safety, nor conflict of interest...rather, I feel strongly that because of the narrowly proposed "requirements" for sanctioning bodies, that these requirmenets were put in there to benefit only one sanctioning body....Oppose 1228
