At least 3 years full time training can be a qualified acupucturist

All acupuncture school requires 3 years education training plus 250 patients treatment under supervision, pass graduation exam and national board exam, you get a Acupucture license, then you can treat patients. 100 hours of PT dry needle training is far too less to know what are acupuncture points. NYCTCM has three trimester training for Acupucture meridian and two trimester for needling technique. Plus another two trimester training for point location. We have diagnosis, therapy class and three trimester clinic case analysis class of acupuncture. How can a 100 hours training is enough to treatment patient with a dry needle? We firmly against PT dry needle practice. If PT want to practice acupuncture, OK, come to acupuncture school study for three years, pass exams and get a acupuncture license, you may practice acupuncture responsively.
