I live in the suburbs in northern Virginia but travel to the other part of the state and spend a decent amount of time in the forests. Anyone who says there's no need to carry a gun in a forest, where black bears and mountain lions are known to be (and I have seen first-hand) is a fool. Like National Forests, these are not places full of happy bunnies and friendly animals. They are full of wild animals that would not think twice before making you their dinner.
I support allowing carrying of handguns in VA forests.
