All health professions are regulated for safety; TRAP restrictions are not medically necessary for patients' safety and go far beyond any reasonable level.
These restrictions were put in place for the purpose of punishing women and closing clinics and had nothing to do with patient safety.
Medically unnecessary mandates such as these regulations jeopardize women's health by making it more difficult for women to access safe and legal abortion, along with the other health care services these centers provide.
