I support the Board of Health's decision to amend the current regulations on women's health centers and to ensure that women's clinics remain open.
While all health professions should be regulated for safety, these restrictions are not medically necessary for patients' safety. Medically unnecessary mandates such as these regulations acctually jeopardize women's health by making it more difficult for women to access safe and legal abortion, along with the other health care services, such as screening for cancer and sexually transmitted diseases, that these centers provide.
