Title: Amend Restrictions on Women's Health Centers That Provide Abortion
I support the Board of Health's decision to amend the current regulations on women's health centers and to ensure that women's clinics remain open.
While all health professions should be regulated for safety, these restrictions are not medically necessary for patients' safety. Medically unnecessary mandates such as these regulations jeopardize women's health by making it more difficult for women to access safe and legal abortion, along with the other health care services these centers provide.
Title: As a Virginia Gentleman, I Support Amending These Regulations
I am a Virginia man and I support the Board of Health's decision to amend the medically-unnecessary restrictions that will close safe, trusted women's health care centers that provide abortions. In order for women to participate fully in our democracy, all women must have access to services that enable them to plan their families, safeguard their health, and pursue educational and employment opportunities. Access to all forms of reproductive health care, including birth control and safe, legal and accessible abortion, is an economic and family issue as well as a health issue. Please ensure these women's health centers remain open. Keep in mind that this is a rehigeous issue not a political one!
Thank you for considering my opinion.
Peace,
Ron Page
