Dear Board of Health,
I write to urge you to reject making permanent Virginia's controversial and divisive TRAP regulations on women's health providers. TRAP laws are medically unnecessary and burdensome on clinics that provide a wide variety of health services to women across the state. If these regulations are put into place permanently, many clinics will struggle to stay open, thereby cutting off access to a range of health services. Closures will disproportionately impact young, low-income, and minority women. I ask you not to allow the political and religious beliefs of the few to govern access to health services for the many. Reject TRAP.
Sincerely,
Aryn Bartley
