what has oxford house done for me, it has completely changed my life. i was an addict for 20 years and i didnt think i could be anything else. As an addict you think you are all alone but once i got into my oxford house a year ago. my life is so much better, i have accomplished so much in a year compared to 20 years of addiction. i can keep a job and be promoted within months, have money saved up for more important things such as car, eventually my own place to live. being in oxford i have learned how to love and support myself and other woman. i learned how regain relationships with my mom, daughter. learn how to love myself after tearing me down for so long and to know that i am not alone. if it wasnt for oxford house i would still be getting high or dead. i owe my life to oxford because it showed me there is a place that cares!!!!
