Oxford House gives individuals in early recovery and in transitional periods opportunities & options. Peer run recovery homes give recovering addicts and alcoholics the freedom to move freely, branch out and navigate recovery in a safe space where their votes count. Oxford house has transformed so many lives and I have seen it first hand, it has helped shape my success in so many areas of my life. I have had the opportunity to build bonds with like-minded people working towards similar goals while staying clean. I have comfortably accomplished many of the goals I set for myself after being released from a lengthy jail stay, and I was able to do that in a supportive environment. The structure, accountability, and roles I played or assisted in gave me the confidence and experience to pursue a career in the recovery field. My Oxford experience gave me the courage to use my lived experience and help those who are suffering in silence, carrying the message of hope. I am able to provide clients, friends, anyone interested in sober living with the gift of Oxford House. I have been a part of so many journeys and I would not be where I am now in my journey without Oxford House Luna.
