Oxford House

i have lived in oxford house for a little over 2 months now, i have learned being here is to take responsibility, handling money and working out conflicts also holding each other accountable. oxford has definently  changed my life in so many ways like, i have relocated and changed my people places and things oxford has provided safe and stable housing in my time of transitioning. a place i can feel safe and has giving me multiple resources to have a better future. i dont know where i would be right now with out oxford and im blessed to have had the oppurtunity to be a part of this program, and i hope it continues to bless and help many other recovering addicts. i support the rules that keep oxford safe but rules that require staff or assume evey home is a commercial buisness would keep oxford houses from operating in va, even though research shows our models gets the best results. please change those rules and please clarify whether house members are considered the operator. i think it makes oxford such a wonderful program and how its ran is everyone has a voice, and we all work together holding different roles but al work together as one. where we all feel heard and have a say on things. which it all works out for the best, of course we are the ones who are living in one unit and everyones voice and opinion should be heard. so being that it is self governed i think it is amazing, thank you for your time and hearing our opinions on this situation.
