Was sad to hear as a Dental Hygienist that legislation had passed bill that allows.dental assistants to scale healthy mouths. This is not good for the health of patients. 

I would hope that the Board of Dentistry would make the correct decision and establish appropriate standards.

On my opion this is going to further reduce the number of Hygienist in Va. Why would  someone want to come to a state where the value of how training and licensure been devalued.
