A registered dental hygienist takes 4 years to get a Batchelor degree and you are letting people do scaling with a few hours supervision!!!  This is malpractice for the patient not to have proper oral health care!  You can't properly clean teeth only doing Supra gingival scaling, what about the calculus under the gum? That just gets left to develop periodontal disease and deep pockets??? Let's just start telling the patients they no longer need to floss because with the tarter deposits flossing won't matter or be helpful! Be brave stand up and protect our dental patients!!!
