Protect our health!

The first thing in your mission statement is this:  DEQ's Mission is to protect and enhance the environment of Virginia in order to promote the health and well-being of the Commonwealth's citizens, residents, and visitors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Please do your job to promote AND protect our health and well-being and to protect and enhance the environment!  As an asthmatic, the thought of having these generators be used significantly more terrifies me.  As someone who cares about our environment, it also terrifies me. Do NOT CHANGE THE LAW to accommodate data centers that have the money, time, and resources to come up with healthier solutions to planned outages.  This adjustment is being requested to save money.  This adjustment allows greed and laziness to win at the expense of residents' health and the overall environmental well-being of the county and state.  That is the very opposite of what your agency is supposed to stand for.
