Guidance Document Change: DEQ Guidance Memo APG-578 addresses the use of emergency generators in the case of “sudden and reasonably unforeseeable events” as the result of a planned electric outage.
I am not in favor of increasing the usage of the backup generators. The policy needs to remain at only when necessary: sudden & unforeseen events. Public health and the environment need to be a high priority. Keep the generators as Backup Only.
