I am training to become a hearing aid specialist.  Audiology requires a professional degree that requires extensive educational study, rigorous training, and hands-on experience to dispense hearing aids.These professionals have studied 6-8 years, most of them obtaining a doctorate degree. I am being trained by one of these professionals so why should they have to take the same exam that they are training dispensers to take!  There is absolutely no need for them to cover that material again to get a dispensing license.  In fact, when I went to take part 1 of my exam, I could not believe the number of audiologists there: I am sure many audiology practices were short-handed that day not only causing  financial burden but also the time & travel that these professionals expended.  I feel there is no need for repeat tesing for the professional audiologist.
