No turtle excluders

I am a commercial waterman catching blue crabs and have many concerts about turtle excluders. One reason why I oppose them is that the pots cost so much to buy and/or build. 30–60 dollars per pot and requiring turtle excluders that cost 4 dollars a piece will in total add up to an extra 16 dollars per pot, so the price of crabs go up, and it causes a downward spiral in the market because people can’t afford them already, so going up on the price more will crash the market.
