There is a reason that individuals become licensed and that there is a formal process to achieve such. Residents are still learning under the guidance of a Licensed Supervisor.  Let's protect the public by making a distinction between a Resident in Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor. This is beneficial more for Private providers and for the Residents themselves.
