Oppose Deer and Beat Trespassing

I oppose vehemently this infringement upon the long-held heritage even before the first white man landed on the shores of what we now call our Commonwealth. Many communities especially in rural Virginia depend on the economic influx of hunting with hounds of deer and Bear this is a substantial amount of money to each community and small business from dog food electronic tracking and training devices that are very expensive local small General stores owned by families who serve food and other groceries every effort is made to prevent dogs from going on to places that they are not wanted on this is a simple fix communities need to get together and work together to understand these areas that we live in especially traditional tight knit communities this is an unnecessary burden that will cost money jobs livelihoods and even homes because this proposal is ripe for abuse corruption and used as a retaliatory attack on neighbors that you may have a disagreement on something else about this is wrong and unconstitutional because such a regulation should be in law and must go through the Virginia General Assembly which it did on two different occasions in the last 5 years and was defeated this is an attack on rural Virginia small business Virginia by elitist who have made their money in other parts of the state or other parts of the country coming in to dictate to us peasants that they have control over our lives the dogs do not control where they go when they are in pursuit of a bear or a deer they are trained to pursue said animal I myself am a fox Hunter and have fox hounds but I see the evil in this proposal much like the lie that was told about the Virginia Fox pins which should be not only allowed to continue to operate but to expand to new fox pen operations in Virginia these Fox pins provide us hunters who love the absolute sound in music of the hounds running like it has happened even before the white man set foot in Virginia this is a simple proposal if people want to reduce the amount of dogs running through the woods abolish and repeal the moratorium on Virginia foxpens this way the hounds are protected and the community are protected and I guarantee there will be a reduction in conflict between landowners who just want peace and quiet which I understand and those who want to introduce commercial deer hunting in Virginia to be defeated as I mentioned earlier the dogs do not determine where they go when a pursuit begins it's a simple fact you cannot single out an animal for trespassing on particular game when said game belongs to the Commonwealth of Virginia if that is the case then all wild animals from bear and deer all the way to the lonely ant or worms in the ground who are stated to belong to the Commonwealth of Virginia our trespassing and thus the Commonwealth must be helped responsible you see this as a ridiculous statement but it's not according to the proposal it could easily expand to that and someone would have you in court suing the Commonwealth of Virginia this is a ridiculous proposal that will end up in court because it is not going to the Virginia legislature which has been defeated on two other occasions in recent history thank you for your time I know this is a lengthy comment but we people who grew up in rural Virginia do not have much but we do have our tradition and heritage
