the proposed bill provides too much leeway for private landowners to abuse this proposed law. Hunters could make every reasonable accommodation to prevent dogs from entering one’s property but the proposed law gives the landowner the right to say that’s not good enough and file enough complaints to get the hunter ticketed. This will not reduce landowner/hunter conflict nor reduce man hours by law enforcement. But more likely increase man hours from law enforcement implementing reasonable accommodations plans and increases in tickets to law abiding hound hunters trying to do the best they can to minimize impact on private landowners. This proposed bill is NOT a solution to landowner/hunter conflict.
