Keep kratom legal! To ban a leaf of a plant seems like a backwards move in this day and age. Kratom is a natural leaf related to coffee that has helped thousands. Many cannot take pharmaceuticals or man-made chemical formulations. Herbs are here for a reason and many people have found it to be far more gentle than made in a lab chemicals or pharmaceuticals Drs. prescribe. We all know pharmaceuticals are big business in our world. Meanwhile, herbs have been around for thousands of years empowering people to help themselves. Protecting and allowing plants to be available for people should be a natural birthright, not a criminal act. People tend to demonize things they fear and do not fully understand and I've seen that right here in the comments. To ban a natural plant that empowers people to help themselves is a step in the wrong direction. Keeping natural remedies available empowers people. Keep it legal! Compassion and education over fear. Allow people to have access to natural plants that relieve their suffering.
