People have overdosed or been physically injured by taking too much ibuprofen yet it is legal. People die of alcohol related disease or injuries every day yet it is legal. 

Any one can take too much of anything and it cause harm. Kratom is no different from anything else. 

If I took ibuprofen every day for my chronic pain, I'd have a bleeding stomach. I take kratom instead for pain relief. There is NO "high" or psychoactive result from what I take. 

Leave kratom alone.
